Bordighi forest

The nature reserve of the Bordighi forest, which extends over 47 hectares between the townships of Albosaggia, Faedo and Montagna in Valtellina, running along the Adda river just outside Sondrio, can easily be reached by car, bicycle or on foot, by following the Valtellina trail towards Tirano. The path is mostly level, and is well marked and maintained, leading hikers through one of the very few remaining riverside forests, on the river’s alluvial plain and rich in fauna and flora.
