Palazzo Sertoli

Palazzo Sertoli is a complex consisting of three connected palazzos facing out on the historic piazza Quadrivio: palazzos Sertoli, Giacconi and Paribelli.

The palazzo takes up the south side of the piazza and is an articulated complex arranged around a noble court, a more rustic courtyard and a formal garden.

The façade facing the piazza is austere and elegant, with stucco molding and friezes. There is a spectacular ballroom in the rococo style on the main floor, realized by Pietro Solari da Bolvedro, with frescoes, tromp-l’oeil decorations and 3D perspectives attributed to Giovan Antonio Torricelli. A visit to the Provincial Council hall (by reservation only), with frescoes by Gianfilippo Usellini.
