San Rocco

San Rocco is a precious sixteenth-century church built at the beginning  of the century from the citizens of Sondrio as a thanksgiving for having avoided the plague and for this reason the church is dedicated to Saint Rocco, the holy protector from epidemics.

The Saint is also represented in the important altarpiece from the sixteenth-century of Cipriano Valorsa, situated on the major altar.
