Over the centuries, an ancient local agricultural culture has been able to hand down, thanks to the tenacity of the mountain farmers, flavors and ingredients that make the local Valtellina products extraordinary.
The local Valtellina wines, Bitto and Valtellina Casera cheeses, Bresaola della Valtellina, the apples, honey and Pizzoccheri della Valtellina are all protected by European certifications of origin, and there are many traditional varieties.
