Percorso DiVino - 3st stop

We are now leisurely walking along the ancient Via Valeriana which has for centuries represented the most important route in the valley and the main access to the city of Sondrio.

The stretch that leads from the city to the sanctuary of Santa Maria della Sassella allows us to immerse in an area where past and present merge in a suggestive landscape. Little by little, the vineyards are starting to appear on our right. The arrangement of the terraces and the beautiful pattern they compose clash with the toughness of the mountains, perfectly representing the patience of men who skilfully shaped the mountain and vines that have been able to express the best of a unique terroir.
